Uniform Care & Guidelines

Patch Placement

“Do Bok” is a composite word combining “Do,” way of life and “Bok” apparel or clothing. All uniforms are to be white in color unless in black belt club. Black Belt Club members wear a black uniform.

Dan (Black Belt) members are required to have Midnight Blue trim on all borders of the jacket including the lapel, sleeve cuffs and bottom border. Trim should be 1 ½” to 2” in width and should cover, but not exceed, the uniform binding.

All belt ranking “stripes” should be worn on the left side. All other stripes should be worn on right side.

Caring for Your Uniform

Your uniform should always be clean and neat. Do not ever drag your uniform on the floor or leave it laying about.  To wash a uniform we highly suggest to never bleach it even with color safe bleach since it can cuase damage to the uniform. It is also suggested to always wash it in cold or cool water with a cup of white vinegar to help keep it white and too prevent any musty smell from sticking around.  You can use the following method to keep your uniform tidy when you are bringing it to and from your Do Jang.

Folded

Rolled
